Training:

We are currently open for dog training at our new facility in Vacaville where we live and we breed quality German Shepherds from pure German lines for working-dog families. Alan has been training dogs for over 25 years and has been successful in conquering problem behaviors as well as training for AKC, VPG titling, and obedience for the home pet dog. If you have any training problems or just want someone to show you what needs to be done, Alan is the one to go to. We offer several different training lessons for you and your dog. You may chose to leave your dog with us for a “Board and Train” lesson where Alan will train your dog and then give you lessons to learn the techniques he used on your dog. Or you may instead wish to have Alan train you and your dog simultaneously in private lessons. If you are interested in having fun with your dog, Alan offers group sessions where you can learn the art of VPG dog sport, or Agility training. Puppy classes and obedience classes will be announced on this site, check frequently for new training schedules.

Grooming:

Grooming will be offered at our new facility, too. We can provide complete baths for our boarders as well as on a walk-in basis. Baths will include a gentle and thorough massage shampooing to clean deep into the coat, ear cleaning, nail trimming and filing, and a powerful blow-dry to remove dead undercoat and reduce shedding.

Welcome to Alan’s Canine Training and Kennels!

Alan has been in the boarding business for over 15 years. We have just recently moved from our Dixon location to build and develop a better, more comfortable, newer, and safer boarding facility in the wonderful city of Vacaville!

Although our brand new facillity is currently under construction and is not expected to be up and running until 2009, we do have immediate boarding available in a limited capacity. For more imformation on our current boarding facillity go to Boarding on this site.
